IVT ja kovat pakkaset!

Taas kysyin Ruotsin IVT:ltä kysymyksiä ja ihme kyllä sain taas vastauksia.

Kysymys - There are conflicting information regarding the lowest operating outside temperature.
In the manual it is mentioned that the pump is designed to work at outside temperatures as low as -15C. The IVT representative on the other hand claimed
that the COP value at -18 °C is 2. What should I do when the outside temperature falls below -25 °C? How about -35 °C? Should I turn the pump completely off ?
Should I just turn it off using the remote control? Or should I just let it run and not worry about anything happenning to the pump? Is there a mechanisim that protects the pump against severe cold?

Vastaus-If the temperature falls below -25 °C more than a week, then you need to have a modifaction made on the unit, never turn the heat pump of (hän varmasti tarkoitti OFF eikä OF) if this special mod isn't made.

Siis kysyin mitä tehdä kun ulkolämpötila putoa alle -25 °C ja vastaus oli, että jos ulkolämpötila putoa alle -25 °C enemmän kuin viikon ajan sitten yksikölle pitäisi tehdä joku modifikaatio. Ilman tätä toimenpidetta ei saa pumpua sammuttaa olleenkaan.

Mitä tämä modifikaatio on ja miten se tehdään ei ole vielä selvinnyt minulle ja toivoisin joku suomen IVT:ltä sanoisi jotain asiasta!
