Hello,
I'm using a Sanyo SAP-KRV94EHDX for heating.
Is it a normal behavior when external unit freezes only for 1/2 or less?

At -15C:

Maybe a refrigerant amount problem?

It could bee too much refrigerant or there is too little work for machine.

Try to run full speed +30C for one heating cycle and see how it looks like before defrosting. If possible measure electricity current or power same time.

Thank you for your answer. Will try to do this.
Another question about sound from pipes. Pipe length is 4.5 meters (2.5m outside and 2m inside).
Is it normal sound?

It looks like an old 94 has been re-installed. So.. was some refrigerant added in the process ? If not it's more likely that some has leaked out.

Adding a correct amount of refrigerant is not trivial - the old stuff needs to be taken out with a special device and then exactly correct amount is put back.

Low refrigerant was a problem. After recharge Sanyo works well
