Hi all!
Sorry for writing in English, I’ve followed the forum a while and there really are good inputs and knowledge here. You can reply in Finnish, I’ll just use google translate (although funny sometimes as it refers to cakes and sausages for some words).
I replaced a 11 year old FH35 with a HZ25ZKE, the mitsu was starting to consume more electricity and believe I got a good deal for both a Wilfa in the garage and a HZ25 in the kitchen.
I’m having some serious issues with the HZ compared to the FH35. The FH35 could be set at 20-22 degrees, depending on outside temperature and it just kept the house at 0.5-1 degrees above the set temp, blowing was 4/5 constantly except when temps were under -15 then it had to be at 5/5. The consumption was stable during the period until defrost as well.
With the HZ I have to adjust the temps several times per day to keep the house at 22, from 23 to 28 degrees, blowing is manual at 3/5 (I have also tried 4/5, but it’s very loud then. Blowing direction «top» seems to spread the heat best, this is also how the Mitsu was configured). The last days it’s been -8 to -10, I’ve had the temp at 25 and blow at 3/5, this kept the house at 22 yesterday. Before bed I increased the temp to 26, I can see in HA that the temp just kept falling to 20 degrees during the night and it seems to struggle to keep the temp in the house (the mitsu had no problems until -18 and I had to turn on one oven in the hallway to help it then).
It seems to defrost every 30 minutes now, even though setting 60 is 1. It is just acting really weird and I’m calling the installer on Monday to see what there is to do.
Also the inside cell is getting frozen when there actually is need to defrost, but the last few days it’s been defrosting with the outer cell being completely clean, maybe a teaspoon of water at each defrost that lasts 2-3 minute.
I see that after a defrost the internal temp is also reporting 18-20 degrees, so it puts out way too much heat and usually stops after 5 minutes, before starting again.
But I assume this isn’t normal? I regret choosing the pana at this moment…
