Moro!
Kiitos! Sekä kumarrus!
Does the MXZ-SM have a base pan heater? If not, I think you can use a lower value resistor to simulate e.g. +5°C temperature. But if it does have the base plan heater, safer to use a resistor corresponding 0...1°C temperature to make sure the heater is active during defrosting.Has anyone here implemented Mitsurunner on a unit that uses the TH3 thermistor instead of RT61 thermistor, and can you confirm a 15k resistor worked for you?
Thank @puu ! The MXZ-SM *does* have a base pan heater. So if I go ahead with Mitsurunner on this then I'll use a 15k resistor.Does the MXZ-SM have a base pan heater? 34k may be a bit high to prevent it from defrosting, it also depends on the tolerance. You can also try two 15k in series if you have them. Or if you have more 15k you can even put four of them in series (=60k) and that in parallel with 68k so that will be 1 / (1/60k + 1/68k) = 31.9k which should be even better than 33k. I've heard that at in Germany they prefer using 30k resistors and I have put a bit lower resistors (30-32k) in the adapters I've sent there.Thank @puu ! The MXZ-SM *does* have a base pan heater. The MUZ-FS (same RT61 thermistor as your MSZ-LN) also has a base pan heater. I just installed Mitsurunner on it, but used a 34k resistor instead of 33k (didn't have a 33k, so I just ran two parallel 68k). Wonder if that's close enough or if it will cause issues. I'll find out soon!
